In 2011, Valentin Sawadski’s co-founders at tado° sat him in front of a heating system built in 1996 and told him to “get it online”. In 2019 Valentin still sees a lot of people working on retrofitting production equipment, heavy machinery and other “old tech” with connectivity and sensing capabilities. This Keynote is to share his biggest learnings with the audience. Not just the requirements of the project setup will be scrutinized,but also the general approach of how to tackle it.
