I received my PhD in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing from the University of Bonn and Fraunhofer IAIS. Since moving from research to industry, I have worked on a diverse set of AI and data driven products, many of them in the medical and healthcare domain. My main passion lies still in NLP, with a strong focus on the German language. That’s why at damedic — a young IT start-up, which aims to sustainably improve the German healthcare system — I am responsible for all things text.
