Infos

Fermenta is an open source DIY fermentation sensor. In home brewing, the so-called wort ferments in the fermentation tank over several days and the hobby brewer measures the fermentation activity several times a day to find the appropriate bottling time. Fermenta measures the fermentation activity as well as the temperature and sends this data to the cloud at regular intervals via LoRaWAN and The Things Network.

In this talk, Sven Haiges presents his Home Brewing IoT project and its architecture. It is an exciting blueprint for other IoT projects in the LoRaWAN / TTN environment.
